    Cons

Organization Structure and Promotions Procedure. Salary Packages in higher management roles

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please implement a more scientific methodology to carry out internal promotion. Superior comments can be biased. This comments are not personal as I had a wonderful career in SLB but a rather generic comment.

Former Employee - Field Engineer in Khobar (Saudi Arabia)

I worked at Schlumberger full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

They take care of their employees and train you better than any other company in the same domain. Most of the time, the employees are quite helpful and encouraging.

    Cons

Sometimes, local politics can sour the office experience. If there is a business decline, you will be laid off no matter how good you are.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be more careful about the middle-management. Some are becoming a cesspool of inefficiencies and nepotism.
