I worked at Schlumberger as an intern (less than an year)

Pros

The best and top most quality of schlumberger is quality assurance and the safety of employee. All employees must have to pass safety test before they go into field.

Cons

You have to work for more than 2,3 months on field. So, your family life gets disturb. You can't meet your friends.

I have been working at Schlumberger full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Huge amount of opportunities in different domains and different geographic areas. Top of the industry training programs, very good and comprehensive compensation package on International Mobile positions. Access to a vast network of technical knowledge.

    Cons

Work life balance is the bigger issue in my opinion. Also, there's a type of attitude in some of the upper mid/management that can make the work environment a bit hostile some times.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Doing great in many areas, try to look closer on how to retain your key and high value employees
