Micromanaged and extremely poor IT

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)
Cleveland, OH (US)

I have been working at Schneider Electric full-time for more than 3 years

ProsBenefits - medical, dental, 401K and vision. Co-workers outside of management are very nice to work with.

ConsOverly micro-managed for no valid reason. system support/ IT is poor at best. You can never count on the systems to be up and running. The micro management is past the point of ridiculous and redundant. Management doesn't understand the workings of a shop environment and what it takes.

Advice to Senior ManagementLet people do what they are skilled at not doing endless reports for no valid reason. Employees should be working on customer satisfaction not managers reports. Learn some of the jobs you are micromanaging.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
