Pros

Union paid jobs means getting paid more than the minimum wage. Good managers however getting shifts worked out can be a hassle at the best of times.

Cons

There are no cons to working here. Be forewarned of being a part of a money hungry union. Don't really like union jobs but there's no alternative to working in one.

Advice to Management

    Pros

Strong TA/Grad Student union, actively fighting for work-life balance and reasonable working conditions.
Most profs are passionate and great to work with.
Paid sick leave, and medical benefits (apparently they pay for MSP)
Supportive environment to help TAs be their best (TA/TM Days, Paid training hours etc.)

    Cons

Difficult to enforce limited working hours when marking and etc.
Pretty much stuck if you have an irresponsible instructor you are working with.
