Pros

- Good company to work for in IT Middleware domain (Best of both the worlds: Small company and offers growth in terms of position
- Exit opportunities to IBM, Accenture and Deloitte

Cons

- Salary growth: Slow
- Focus on specialist rather than generalists.
Once you specialize in the product, its hard to diversify and move around within the company.

    I worked at TIBCO Software full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    Decent benefits and cafeteria on the main campus. Product line is good and has few real competitors. Compensation for sales team is good. Great annual company party.

    Cons

    Like most Silicon Valley companies, sales team comes first. Support groups are understaffed and stretched to the max. Doing as much with as few people works to a certain extent, but eventually people need a break. Pay is on par or a little below industry norm.

    Hire enough support staff to supplement your sales.
