Interesting people but...

Prosyoung environment, interesting people, large company with a lot of opportunities across many product lines

Consnot very transparent with major organizational changes, decisions, or even smaller things like what performance ratings are based on. below market value salaries, high turnover, forced corporate culture of overworking

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

Generally a good company, but not in touch with people who don't work in Chicago

Pros: Pay is reasonably good, and benefits are ok, unless you live in an area where United Healthcare isn't… Cons: The execution of meritocracy is so dependent on your manager that it isn't really a meritocracy. It all comes down to how "connected" you… Advice to Senior Management: Work with off-site employees more. Find an alternative healthcare… Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company… More
