    Pros

The opportunity to work at a large university that is growing; the opportunity to work with some good folks; opportunities to be involved in a lot of things if able or permitted.

    Cons

Favoritism, unprofessional (discussing employee matters with others who are not the employee or a supervisor, and unethical modeling of behavior by leadership (including gossip about personal lives, health, and wellness of employees). Good old boy/girl network which prohibits advancement opportunities. Punished for speaking up for oneself.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Training in professional ethics required for all staff, including leadership.
