    Pros

The University of Houston campus Recreation center is a flexible fun environment for active students to work.

    Cons

Due to the low level of skill involved in the nature of the job, the Campus Recreation Center's management largely treats student employees as replaceable and disposable.

    Advice to Management

Treating student workers with genuine respect and appreciation while motivating their productivity is the key to both staff morale and customer satisfaction. A warm, but firm hand is needed to manage these student employees.

    Pros

Working at the Rec Center on campus puts you close to the gym and gives you a chance to work out right before or after work. Hours are extremely flexible and pay is decent for how easy the work is.

    Cons

Often times there would be a lack of hours due to how many people they had hired. I eventually left because I was only getting 6 hours a week.
