I have been working at Walt Disney Company full-time (less than an year)

Pros

Lots of movement with 1-2 years in a given role being typical before a move is made. Friendly atmosphere, matrix structure. Promotions usually occur from within making it easier to rise up in rank. Finance is home to many younger analysts both male and female. Coworkers provide an intellectual and driven environment to work in.

Cons

Compensation packages may be slightly below industry average but demand for jobs is high.

I have been working at Walt Disney Company full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Great Benefits and access to the theme parks. Lots of resources for personal growth. Many different careers available from housekeeping to horticulture, if you want to totally change careers you can stay with the same company.

    Cons

The company is very big and it takes a lot of politics to get things done. They are very slow to adapt and keep up with technology. The company doesn't seem to keep salaries inline with the industry and tries to use the benefits to make up for this.
