Current Employee – been working at Welch Allyn full-time for more than a year

Pros – Good pay & benefits
Some good learning opportunities, especially to learn many parts of the business
Modern facility for headquarters
Some executives and managers are very capable

Cons – Very rural setting in Skaneateles and often translates into rural thinking
Very consensus driven culture with a need to exhaustively review every decision
Rewarding some bad behavior in management and consistently low performers
Many of the systems and processes found in similarly sized businesses are missing

Advice to Senior Management – Invest in the innovation you need for the future and take more risk, in this global economy you can no longer rely on just making quality products that last forever.
