I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time

Pros

Lots of resources to help achieve goals.
Get used to re-orgs - 4 in the last 8 months.
Decent compensation package.

Cons

Some management is clueless (those mainly from legacy Wells Fargo). When you finally get a manager who knows the business, a re-org happens and you are back to square one and need to prove yourself all over again.

This is no different from any other large multinational company.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    - There is great teamwork in play here. The dynamics within a project team and also among cross-functional teams are great.
     - With solid financial base and great strategy that is proven in both good and bad economy, the job is pretty stable
    - Within so many lines of business and growing national and international reach, team members can find opportunities in many different geographic locations.

    Cons

    - Being such a large bank and conservative in nature, the transition to latest technology usually is a bit slow.
     - The change management has its own bureaucratic process
     - The visibility of what technology are being used in different parts of the bank seems pretty opaque

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    - There seems to be good amount of duplicate efforts. If there were common technology framework created, different teams simply could leverage it instead of creating their own version of inefficient process.
