I worked at WorleyParsons full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Good working conditions, hours (everyother Friday off) good people to work with

    Cons

Low pay, poor benifits, lay off happy

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Bring back Gilberts Management and Lay off the Aussies. I worked for two of the clients and they say Gilbert / Parsons used to be the EOC (engineer of choice). Presently work is not of the caliber it once was. WP is no longer the EOC.

I have been working at WorleyParsons full-time

    Pros

Diversified upstream, downstream, onshore and offshore opportunities with Tier 1 clients

    Cons

Standards and procedures are not as robust as Tier 1 clients. Too much left to interpretation.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

More cross-training of disciplines across industries.
