    I worked at Yum!

    Pros

The pay is high and the benefits are good as they are considered one of the top companies to work for in Louisville, KY

    Cons

The politics are consuming and a person has to learn it on their own to succeed. The culture that is posted on the walls, is not what is lived out by management.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The leadership needs to learn how to communicate more directly and concise in the vision they are developing. The leadership can concentrate more on politics than focusing on assisting the employees to do the best job as possible. They also need to not play favorites!

    Pros

Managment will give you opportunities to grow and develop if you ask for them. It may be a liitle harder though if you come from the outside. They like to grow their interns over external hires, and it's pretty obvious.

    Cons

Keep around bad managers for too long....and the 30 year veterans don't want to change anything and preface sentences with "Well, that's not how we used to do it." Even with broken and inefficient processes. Lack of strucutre and accoutability for sure.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't take so long to get rid of those who don't want to change, or don't have the capacity to lead. you will lose more decent people in the process.
