Disapproves of CEO

Pros

Good compensation and benefits, including free food
Far reach - your relatives, friends, and wife's friends probably play their games

Cons

They talk the talk but don't walk the walk - for example, "Be your own CEO" is a core value but they micromanage employees
Experience and knowledge of experienced employees frequently ignored - long hours by junior employees more valued than working smarter
The studios are second class citizens - if you aren't at the main office in SF your options are limited and you are much more expendable
Often mislead by management - optimism and a positive plan one day, then completely changed the next to something negative

Advice to Management

Change fast - stop depending on Facebook-only games and "the pinch" and "friction" to get customers to pay, and move towards pay for more fun and multi-platform games (mobile, tablet, console)

    Pros

*The perks really are amazing. Massages, amazing food, in house gym, you really feel taken care of at Zygna.

    Cons

*As someone mentioned before, you really need to have your own work-life balance sorted out since its very easy to get caught up with work here, and things move very fast. Definitely not a suitable place for everyone.

    Advice to Management

Hire PMS with more diverse backgrounds, such as design and CS, not just number crunchers.

It's been fun so far, great atmosphere and a great place to improve your craft and use that to make games.

    Pros

Good Benefits, Good salary, and fun creative people. Free Food is nice. There are also Team-bonding days that are really interesting and fun.

    Cons

It is a pretty fast pace, Definitely need to be able to adapt at the ever changing tides in the studio and excel from there on out. Does depend on which branch you are in though.
