I have been working at Equifax full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Good salary and benefits package excellent pension scheme. Varied, often interesting work, good work life balance too and some really good people to work with. It feels a better place now than it did a few years ago.

    Cons

Poor Career progression, some departments in the past have been utterly demoralising, regular rounds of redundancies, so go elsewhere for job security.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Trust your people more, they work hard and are very commited.

I have been working at Equifax

    Pros

    Good coworkers
    Interesting work
    Pay is fine

    Cons

    Overworked on a daily basis

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If you want earnings to stay up, you need to hire more ppl. You are overworking the entire firm for Wall Street

Notice how many VERY good people have left in recent months (12-18 mths) - this is a good firm we have the cash - hire more people and keep the good people

I worked at Equifax full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

If you want to be able to work remote they have the tools and encourage it. Use State of the Art technology.

    Cons

Too matrixed and people don't want to speak up to affect change. No one is willing to make difficult decisions and if you are not part of the corporate office you don't stand a chance at being successful.

I have been working at Equifax

    Pros

They offer good pay and benefits

    Cons

This company is the most clickish I have ever seen. If you're not a white male, you have no chance to move up. The only women are the ones that have been there a long time. The people that have been there for 20+ years rotate through management roles and have no clue how other companies work. So no depth of experience.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It's time to bite the bullet and get rid of ineffective management and individual contributors that have been there forever and are no longer an asset.

    I worked at Equifax

    Pros

Technology systems, strong CEO, recognition for those identified as high potential employees, family life balance

    Cons

Lack of training and tools to perform job; compensation in remote sites is low compared to corporate office; advancement opportunities are lacking and not based on merit

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Better communication, become competitive in marketplace with wages for sites other than corporate office, provide more recognition for a broader band of employees
