I worked at FedEx as a contractor (less than a year)

    Pros

Fedex is a good workplace, pleasant, clean and very well organised. We had free coffee, coffee machine, they also used to deliver fresh fruit every week. Health insurance with Bupa was also on a plus side.

    Cons

Too narrow minded when it came to changes. Work was monotonous, we were working almost as robots, not allowed talking much during work. No Internet use apart from during breaks. Overtime was not voluntary, we had to stay till workload was done.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Good management, perhaps would be better if it was sometimes a bit more open minded to changes.

    I worked at FedEx

    Pros

Great training, nice compensation and benefits. low workload and vacations. Flight benefits great health benefits buddy passes traveling all around the world iota wonderful

    Cons

The pay was a bit low, and although management was very willing to give me more responsibility and more opportunities, they were not willing to increase my salary.Move around too much hard to balance family friends

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Nothing is more infuriating than being told by HR or management that there is nothing they can do because according to their secret undisclosed formula the salary should not be adjusted.

I worked at FedEx part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Relativly easy work. Clearcut and simple. Safety is a top priority. Team focused on the bigger packages which are too heavy for one person.

The schedule was great for a college student. Allows for growth opportunities while still being able to attend school.

    Cons

Every once in awhile you get a hazardous materials package, which can be somewhat difficult to cleanup. Overall this is not really a con though.
