Current Employee – been working at Flextronics full-time for less than a year
Pros – None. I'm only giving 2 stars which this company does not deserve because there are some people out there who like coming in to work to collect a pay check. Well, if that is the case, this is the place for them....no thinking required, just show up!
Cons – People that have no common sense, no initiative, low quality of people, uneducated employees, politics, clueless employees, foul language, run-down office building and facilities
Advice to Senior Management – Fire the PMs and replace them with educated and professional ones
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

Former Employee – worked at Flextronics full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – One of the best supervisors that I've had seen embedded in the middle management. Cannot say much about the other management levels, but mine acts more as mentor and coach than supervisor. Great place to learn new technologies, my supervisor is the only one that pushes me into positions that allows me to grow with the company.
Cons – Other careers paths within the company pretty much goes stagnant and offers not much of growth and advancement.
Advice to Senior Management – Need to know more of who's working for you rather than to only allow what your employees were originally hired to do.

Former Employee – worked at Flextronics full-time for more than a year
Pros – Good training and experience potential working in a rapid paced Verizon Wireless retail location. Opportunities to meet the occasional celebrity, Ralph Macchio, Mick Foley, etc.
Cons – No pay raise or opportunity to advance over the 2 years I worked there. The only way to make more was overtime at other locations.
Advice to Senior Management – give raises to people who deserve it and motivation will return. It's tough to want to work harder when the guy next to you is slacking and making more.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

Current Employee – been working at Flextronics full-time for more than a year
Pros – As a big company it has several areas to work and grow, from eingineering to management. HR and upper managemet woorking for it to be a good place to work. Coffe areas, even a little super market inside.
Cons – HR is not that flexible and have to check in check out even in Management positions, a lot of Micromanagemet. Some times overtime is not valued as something extra, more of a must do.
Advice to Senior Management – Improve management reviews for employees and reduce ongoing Micromanagement.

Former Employee – worked at Flextronics full-time for more than 10 years
Pros – Flextronics is a very flexible company with wide range of interesting and challenging jobs. It's pretty easy to get hired and a very good place to start up your carrier.
Cons – However as easy to get hired that easy to get fired too.. As soon the company loses a business it starts to fire the employees without delay. Many times they warn employees very late, they get the information about the coming layoffs from the media earlier than from the company.
Stress is also a main factor, I wouldn't recomment Flextronics to someone with family.
Advice to Senior Management – Profit and customer satisfaction is important but the employees are the ones who make a company successful. Flextronics should care about his employees much better. There is a very big place for improvement in culture as well.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
