    Great people terrible IT infrastructure.

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsThe people are great, work life balance is good.

ConsThe company does not value IT and the infrastructure is dated and broken. Many hours of associates' time are wasted while waiting for the systems to be repaired.

Advice to Senior ManagementThe companies who do not invest in their IT platforms will suffer competitvely in the future when other companies surge ahead with superior market offerings and data analytics.

    Good while it lasted

Senior IT Security Analyst (Former Employee) Rancho Cordova, CA (US)

ProsMade lifetime friends, the skills that I learned helped me get a better job within the public sector.

ConsInformation Technology was racist, misogynist and homophobic. Very few diversity with limited blacks, hispanics and asians. Females have to fight to get promoted and paid fair. Outsourcing model is not it's best and Health Net only cares about making a profit and is no longer there for its customers or employees. Benefits are good but employees have to pay top dollar for them (not quite a benefit but an expense).

Advice to Senior ManagementStop encouraging racist behavior, misogynist attitudes and bring more diversity to your organization. Incorporate a zero nepotism policy to weed out the bad hiring that is occurring with 'white' boys club.

Senior leadership has no vision. They change course repeatedly and consistantly waste, time, money and resources.

Manager (Current Employee) Woodland Hills, CA (US)

ProsAt the individual team level coworkers are great. Good location and surrounding area. Short ride from freeway to office. Facilities are comfortable and well maintained.

ConsNo long term vision at the senior executive level. Very reactive no long term planning. waste lots of money on projects that never get implemeted.

Advice to Senior ManagementRun the company like you want to keep it forever, not like you want to run it into the ground for short term profits. Treat employees like they are valued.
