    I worked at Honeywell

    Pros

Interesting and varied work. Plenty of new challenge. Some top quality people who will help you learn, grow and support you when needed.

    Cons

Will take everything that you offer and demand more. Poor work life balance. Metrics drive everything. Always one step short of being great, typically because of self inflicted wounds.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Focus on how to be successful not on avoiding failure.

    I worked at Honeywell

    Pros

Good pay contracting, you have to work very hard for this.

    Cons

Bullying by a foreign staff member who forced many people out of their job. This person was repremanded on a few instances, but the manager was scared that she kept throwing in the race card. I have lost all respect for this company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Not to tolerate any kind of bullying n the work place from high level or lower level.

I have been working at Honeywell full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

The team I work with are good team players and look after each other

    Cons

wages are low and are not consistent with people doing the same job but with a 8 to 9000 defence
They do not value long term service.
If you leave and come back you get more money for doing the same job as before.
Honeywell want sos reporting swq's and paperwork as long as you can do the paperwork you don't have to know the job. you will be ok.
Work /home balance is not good for engineers. The pay is not good and to make up what you need to live on. You have to work evenings and weekends just to make ends meat . The 9 block is not worth the paper its printed on max pay rise is 4% but you will not get this.
1.75% for the 1st time in 4 years. Only one person in any one team can get a 1 on the 9 block.
All in all honeywell is a good place to work if you don't want holidays Ect

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Honeywell need to realise that they are losing good engineers to other company's as they pay more.
And honeywell need to realise the work we do out on call over time keeping customers happy.
After all its use the workers in the field that keep the company going.
So we should not be at the bottom of the food chain.
