I have been working at ICICI Bank

    Pros

Great work atmosphere with smaller teams compared to other banks. You get to know how all the desks perform. The UK office as started recently so you can be part of a team which is still budding. The company provides lot of training programs for the advancement and growth of the employee. They also give lot of responsibility in the initial phase of your career. The senior management keeps all the employees informed about the company strategy and how it is performing. This creates trust and assurance for the employees. The working hours are not very hectic and you can have a good life.

    Cons

The products are not that complex, so the value add in terms of product knowledge may not be great. The staff is predominantly Indian which can be a problem for the people from other nationalities. The compensation is on the lower side of the industry average. The bank mainly concentrated in India, is smaller in other parts of the world. So it is not such a big player in UK and may not drive the market. The feedback process is not that well structured as in other international banks. It is done only on a yearly basis which is very bad.

    Pros

(Wealth team) Ambitious and very supportive management and team members. Surviving one year with the team will boost your learning curve as one is given all the opportunity and exposure. One has to be very innovative in his approach keeping in mind your limitations.

    Cons

Meeting their demands at time can be very challenging. Getting work done from different functions can put you in a war zone

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep going at this rate you will be the one of the top players, but you may also have to hear what your employees are saying

I have been working at ICICI Bank full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Best reason for working here is the HiTech system of company for the employees and the encouragement one get is very good. It deserves to be a Largest private sector bank of India because of the systematic work delivered by the company. Client satisfaction is always met.

    Cons

May be the HR team is not that much efficient and I think they misguide candidates before taking up appointment letter. As happend to me ,I'm a Chartered Accountant by profession .I appeared for an interview for Credit Manager profile and after my joining I found that I was actually alloted with Solution Manager profile which has a tremendous sales pressure in it.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Try to understand your employees.
