Current Employee – been working at Insight
Pros – Flexible working schedules, great PTO structure, decent pay, nice friendly working environment. We enjoy some of the perks of working in a building that was built in the tech hay day, however cut backs within the company are making them fewer and far between.
Cons – No real advancement opportunities. Being in the IT industry, they have their wallets under lock and key. Downsizing and controlling costs are the #1 priorities. Expect to keep your job if you're competent and do what is asking, just don't expect to advance as a result of hard work
Advice to Senior Management – Invest in your employees. Its sometimes easy to forget who works their butts off to earn you your profits, and while you're spending money on new company acquisitions, and upper management summit retreats, try not to forget the employees that made it all possible.

Current Employee – been working at Insight
Pros – Insight is committed to growth and well defined goals. The senior leadership team is aligned and many positive changes have occurred over the last two years. Insight is an outstanding company for investing your career and for those that have a great work ethic and are committed to company values, career advancement is readily available.
Cons – Insight is re-building its reputation and sometimes run into old thinking and perceptions about the new company.

Current Employee – been working at Insight
Pros – People and pay are the only pros I can think of.
Cons – One of the most fragmented businesses I've ever been exposed to. Most service delivery managers are clueless (literally). Company promotes incompetence over and over again. Upper management not in touch with those who make a difference. The previous post about a "me too" services organization is so true.
Advice to Senior Management – N/A

Former Employee – worked at Insight
Pros – - Nice building
- Co workers are friendly
- Pay is ok
Cons – - Militant
- Micro Managed
- Sales training inadequate
- They use people as pons and work you like a donkey
- management is incompetent
Advice to Senior Management – Treat your employees better, they work very hard and lets face it, the managers are incompetent with no leadership skills. The turnover rate is unreal this should be a red flag, stop playing roulette with employees.
p.s. I Resign!

-Easy going life
-New technologies introduced so might be able to learn a lot
-"Cow boy" style coding.
Cons – -No Documentation at all, so if you are ready to figure out everything from project setup, configuration requirement and the project technical setup all by your self with out any help, than you should be able to live there
-Company is made up of many take overs so there may be lot of communication gap between different taken over teams and many managers so sometime its difficult to manage fund for them
-Unable to retain employees sometimes so high attrition rate for senior positions
Advice to Senior Management – -Should learn to follow proper and transparent procedures and business model so that resources and projects are well managed

Former Employee – worked at Insight
Pros – Energetic sales company. Lots of perks for working there, concerts, sporting events, shows. Fun people. Company provides Great benefits for there employees!
Cons – Management never shows praise for a job well done. Insight would rather higher people outside the company then promote within. Job roles are always changing, so if you did well one quarter its different the next.
Advice to Senior Management – Turnover is to high because they would rather have more employees then keep the ones they currently have and promote with in.
