I have been working at Intel Corporation full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

The benefits package, and pay is quite nice.

    Cons

I believe it is impossible to get a promotion (as a white male) while maintaining a good balance between work and life. All of the people who are promoted are either single, and spend all of their time at work, or are about to be divorced because they spend all of their time at work.

If you hate your wife and kids, and love to work all the time. You can easily escape them here.

Also, there are no internal transfer promotions. If an employee is in a group that is stagnant and not growing, they cannot join another group at a higher level and get a promotion.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Allow internal promotional transfers, or expect to loose your employees to your competitors.

    Pros

Very good salary, very thoughtful with students (two days a week, and you don't have to work on exam periods). You also enjoy some very nice perks even as a student.

    Cons

Heard from other students that some jobs are menial, but I was very satisfied with mine
