    I worked at Interstate Hotels

    Pros

Interstate has a strong leadership with a mentors heart. The teams are strong and knowledgeable. Currently Growing with many opportunities.

    Cons

There is a personality test with some analytical math questions at the beginning of the interview process. Although this test is a personality test it will take you out of the second round of interviews regardless of what your knowledge and personality present in a face to face interview. Seems like the Human Resources Department is currently leading the Interstate decisions. This is limiting and discounts candidates who are otherwise fully qualified for a position.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Discussions with candidates as to qualifications for a position should go beyond a personality test.
