Pros – Access to senior management is pretty straightforward and they will be listening to what you have to say.
Night-out once a month, yearly team-building event.
Business initiatives are supported once they are demonstrated to be successful.
Consultants are free to choose the assignments they see fit.
Cons – Some senior managers don't present the required competencies to run the departments they're heading.
Badly paid for the cash that's being generated.
Poor communication with the sellers on the assignments being prospected, the clients being met. Very secretive on this aspect.
Advice to Senior Management – Improve the relationship between the sales and the consultants, there isn't any feedback and communication on what's going on with the accounts.
The client interviews need to be prepared from a more personal perspective too: the seller should always be aware of the client's requirements and inform the consultant on them.
