Can be a rewarding place to work

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsThis can be a fun rewarding job, flexible hours. Great tasting, healthy products. Good culture in stores. Fast paced and customer driven. Good entry level management position.

ConsNot a lot of advancement opportunities past general manager or district manager. Most stores are franchise, so advancement options vary. You are expected to work 50 hours a week and that can be a grind. Pay is relatively low for comparable positions in other fast food or retail positions.

Great company to get you started

District Manager (Former Employee) Los Angeles, CA (US)

ProsIt was a great work environment the people were wonderful and the culture was positive and upbeat. This is a great place to start a career in the quick serve arena.

ConsThere are not really any cons. However, if I need to search for one It would be the launch of some promotions. They are rolled out to quickly and too often.

Advice to Senior ManagementKeep doing what you you do!

    Great environment!

Team Member (Former Employee) Norco, CA (US)

ProsGreat and extensive training, the general manager was extremely friendly, and it was super easy to get shifts covered if you really need them covered. My coworkers were extremely friendly and outgoing as well!

ConsDistrict managers didn't like to schedule a lot of people during rush hours so the service was slow and customers were left waiting and angry due to the lack of hands on deck. The general manager was pretty much a figure head while the district manager ran and controlled everything which was really irritating at times. Schedules were sometimes posted the day before the start of the new week which didnt give any time for team members to plan ahead for their week.

    Seasonal fluctality

Juice Jedi (Current Employee) Kansas City, MO (US)

ProsHealthy product, good benefits. Good teamwork amongst local area managers. Nice seasonal menu fluctuation. Health based clientele. Nice local store marketing.

ConsToo many hours in the summer. Unrealistic budget labor targets. Direct lack of communication from corporate level. Stores outside of their CA region do not get the same attention.
