    flight benefits and great co-workers

    Cons

    Previous Experience weighs more than Education. This can be a plus if that's what you bring to the table.

    Advice to Management

    Allow your employees to gain the experience you require by letting them do acting positions, and please don't require prior experience for acting positions because that's the whole reason to Bein an acting role.

    flight benefits
    relatively new company in airline industry

    They switch management and now they only care about money and less about what the employees brought to the table and how they help our custoemrs.

    Flight benefits, health benefits, the people that work here

    Cons

    They don't always have the employee's best interest in mind. Sometimes politics get involved. Certain jobs have a bad work-life balance.

    Listen to your employees, they're the reason the company flourishes.

    Pros

    Great company with a friendly and outgoing culture.
    Leadership is available and easy to get in touch with. Encourage open discussion and teamwork. Good benefits.

    Cons

    The pay is low. Flexible work arrangements available, but depend on department availability and leadership approval. Headquarters in Long Island City isnt easily accessible

    Pros

    Constant comunication of companies status, successes, projects with all level employees. Travel benefits rival competing companies, profit sharing, and health benefits in Puerto Rico even for PT employees. Fun environment

    Cons

    Chain of command can be confusing, Positive feedback can be seen with some leadership but is not necesarally the culture.

    Advice to Management

    I believe scheduling is not as efficient as its potential. Follow up on new hires progress is basically non-existent.
    As an experienced manager, there is very few incentive for me to go all in and search for growth. Pay raise differential from lower level to lead and supervisor is not relevant

    Training is weak, seems to breed a "you're replaceable attitude", still trying to find organizational balance

    Advice to Management

    While JetBlue is an ontime airline; working in major cities can be a commuter challange. Shorten intro period; allow for more flexibility in work life balance.

    Pros

    The company invested highly in the training of it's employees. The company takes it's core values seriously!

    Cons

    Salary not as competitive as other organizations outside of the airline industry.

    Pros

    The crewmembers at JetBlue make the airline and now with new product offerings, it's getting interesting. Flight benefits are great and can take you places you could never believe, but the standby lifestyle is not for everyone.

    Cons

    Depending on positions I'm sure, but work/life balance leans too far towards work. Basic IT resources are horrible. Flight benefits, no matter how much you plan, you'll eventually feel a level of stress and anxiety one never knew existed.

    Advice to Management

    With the rollout of our new product offerings, let's do our best to focus on pleasing our customers and not share holders.

    Pros

    Really None other then the flight benefits

    Cons

    Teamwork sucked JFK Airport
    Pay was a joke for the kinda work you do
    Can't accept tips there's always someone watching and it's their policy that you can't
    there are no bonuses
    there is no rehiring policy so if you get fired you cannot come back ever
    upper management at Long Island City are just a bunch of pushovers
    current and former crew member's. are treated like crap

    Advice to Management

    and overall reconstruction of management isn't needed with some sort of rehiring policy especially when general managers and department managers promise that you can get rehired when you really can't
