I worked at Live Nation Entertainment

    Pros

There is a good work life balance. For someone who is always up for a new challenge, being able to move from a development team, to a marketing group, to services, and back again, provides the intellectual challenge that many people seek – without having to update the resume and embark on a job search.

    Cons

Lot of politics happens at the higher. The benefits were less. Not a paymaster. There was not much socialising or team lunches organized by the management.

    Pros

Most everyone is very friendly and seems to enjoy their jobs. My direct boss is great. He knows when things need to be done, but also can make work enjoyable.

    Cons

As with most office environments, there is some snippy passive aggressive things between some employees.

    Pros

Fun, engaging, motivational setting where we all got to enjoy what we were doing and all worked well with one another.

    Cons

Low pay and many people people who worked for the company for a good deal of time failed to move up to the roles they expected to be in.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Consider more promotions and compensation strategies because it is difficult for many of employees to stay motivated for long periods of time.

I have been working at Live Nation Entertainment full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

They make you feel very welcome at the beginning, you may even get to work remote a few days a week. Most jobs are pretty easy and routine. They offer 2 extra week of vacation at the end of the year, if CEO is in the mood. There is no annual performance - this may be good for some and not for others.

    Cons

Management is very secretive, even though they put on the appearance of transparency. Decisions are made by SVP & CIO behind the close doors and you get hit with the outcome. The annual increases are almost non existent. You're lucky to get a cost of living adjustment every year. Management keeps you on your toes by letting you know, you can be fired at any time. Medical/vision/dental benefits are basic.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop promoting brown nosers and reward people based on the skill set and performance.

I worked at Live Nation Entertainment full-time

    Pros

Live Nation is an interesting company in a fun and sexy industry. You will definitely have the opportunity to work on some interesting projects and co-workers are friendly. As a whole, being employed by Live Nation definitely provides some unique experiences.

    Cons

The two major cons with Live Nation is the benefits package and weak leadership. The pay, I suppose, can be attributed to the fact that you're in the entertainment industry. The weak leadership, however, is because the company doesn't seem to really care about fostering good leaders that know how to manage other people. This is really a shame because work in general is interesting.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Consider investing in serious management training and reevaluating why certain people are "leaders." Are some people "leaders" because they've been there a long time and talk a big game?

I worked at Live Nation Entertainment as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

Very exciting industry, every day is different. Everyone works very closely as a team and as a family to complete projects. It's not just about the office work- Onsite is fun, fast-paced, and exciting.

    Cons

The hours can be long, especially when split between the office and onsite concert days.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Develop more full time positions to keep people dedicated to the company and to make them feel like part of the family.
