Former Employee – worked at MAT Holdings

ProsThey have a big kitchen.

ConsAll my co-workers did nothing but complain about some aspect of working there. Managers do not communicate with employees. Everything is your fault. Every time I went to supervisor with an issue, I felt like I was bothering her. No feedback on performance. I worked there for almost 2 years, never had a performance review, was never given any warnings about my performance, verbal or written, and was let go.

Advice to Senior ManagementThere's nothing I could say because no one would listen anyway.

Former Employee – worked at MAT Holdings full-time for more than 7 years

ProsNice mid level people to work with. Always new challenges to keep the job interesting.

ConsDon't get the necessary tools to do your job. No training. No support. No opportunity to advance. Management style is to scream and curse. Everything is done as cheaply as possible.

Advice to Senior ManagementCutting corners can harm long term results.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

Former Employee – worked at MAT Holdings full-time for less than a year

ProsThe pay is decent for a temporary job, considerably better than working in the food service industry.
Not difficult work--anyone can learn to do it.
Friendly co-workers.

ConsBelow average pay.
Semi-difficult working conditions.
Half of my managers were very helpful, while the other half were extremely lazy.

Advice to Senior ManagementAn increase in pay would increase worker morale and production. Additionally, you may want to conduct a review of some of your line managers.
