    Pros

    Great experiences
    High exposure to top-level management
Unparalleled learning opportunity with loads of training and on-the-job experience

    Cons

    Insane hours.
    High-stress work environment.
Some of the EMs are not that great at leading teams.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Manage the scope of the projects. Don´t let the clients ask for more and more work from the same team, and in the same amount of time.

    Pros

The best people and a great entrepreneurial culture. Positive teamwork despite clear up or out policy. Truly global organisation. Actually behaves as a partnership with strong long term consistency of vision and values.

    Cons

Work life balance can get out of kilter if you let it, and it creeps up on you slowly. This is mainly down to individuals not setting boundaries rather than the culture or any top down pressure.
Hard to work for another organisation afterwards as the gap is extreme - you need to be running it.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The policy of only hiring at the bottom and not letting people return means that there is little fresh experience coming in to challenge the status quo. This has huge advantages in terms of consistency of apprenticeship model but in the new economy and technological era it's a risk if the leaders are out of date

    Pros

    Amazing people
Fantastic diversity of work and opportunities to work with senior clients

    Cons

Hours - average is 70-75 hours with many working 80+
Travel - lots of travel and you are expected to work hard while travelling

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Show you care about work life balance - time off programmes do not make up for 80-100 hour weeks
