I have been working at Monsanto Company

    Pros

Fantastic growth opportunities with maximum return on time-effort investment. Great, fun people to work with. Superb annual barbecue with great music.

    Cons

Worst point is that you have to go home at the end of the day, leaving behind the wonderful colleague team spirit and office.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep doing what you are doing as it is working very well. Just sit back and take a step back from time to time.

I have been working at Monsanto Company full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Lots of opportunities and training, very much focus in safety. Good DPR (Development Performance Rewards) system. Great benefits and excellent salaries.

    Cons

Lost of politics, you have to be good with your boss no matters what, if you are not nice with them you are dead. Whatever your boss said is not form him, it comes from upper management, you can not said anything before consulting, too much micromanagement, everything has to be approved by your boss, bosses are looking for their own success and do not care about their direct reports, they take your work done to be recognized and promoted

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You have to make valid the Monsanto Pledge for all employees and not only for the ones in the lower levels

    Pros

Best place to work! Dress code is really relax and they aren't strict on when you come and go. It is really a free environment. They are really big on you networking with the different departments within the company and shadowing other departments that interest you.

    Cons

Didn't have any bad experiences. I will say training for my position probably could have been a tad bit better. But overall I still have learned so much.
