Pros – Good benefits and great staff. They really had their stuff together but in the end it all fell apart
Cons – One word. PNC. They came in and pretty much ruined everything. Technology went back 10 years.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

Pros – The best reason to work there is that it is a job and you get paid.
The benefits are good.
Cons – Very little diversity, or flexibility in the work schedule.
Not easy to advance and when there are heavy workloads there is mandatory overtime .
Compensation is tight.
Advice to Senior Management – Be open to your employees ideas and be more flexible with scheduling.
Offer more training opportunities and career related classes for free .

Opportunity to contribute right away
Cons – Stock Option wipe out was not motivating for good long time employees

Cons – If you get stuck in a bad branch, it can be hell
Advice to Senior Management – Get rid of overbearing branch managers

Pros – Close and tight relationships with each customer allowed for better service.
Cons – Customer-centric services sometimes lead to situations where customers would demand ridiculous requests to be done.
Advice to Senior Management – Leadership needed.

Cons – Reorganization centralized many jobs to Pittsburgh

Advice to Senior Management – Pay more attention to your "little people" - we can make a difference.

Pros – The benefits are better than the those provided at bank they bought MidAmerica Bank.
Cons – National city it not headquartered in Illinois so no corporate jobs available other than relocation
Advice to Senior Management – Be more open to working students because they are working and attending school to achieve more in life.

Pros – Decent benefits, consistent hours and shifts, holidays off
Cons – Unclear tuition reimbursement policy, bullying among tellers was allowed to go on in the banking center which was totally unacceptable

Pros – good ideas and good people in the main... I found few exceptions to this except when it was review time
Cons – There seemed to be a few exec's who were always looking out for #1. That part became frustrating at times
