Pros – There are many opportunities to further your career at NSN if you are willing to go the extra mile. Thecompany has many technical experts which is testament to its commitment to training. Good people, good training and endless opportunities.
Cons – Too friendly and not aggressive enough for a company in such a competitive market. Also seems to lack direction at times.
Advice to Senior Management – A more aggressive approach to the market would be a great help.

Pros – Progressive HR policies, open career progression, lots of talented employees, fine engineering heritage, open internal communications, flexible working

Pros – Really happy I enjoyed NSN, it was a good choice I made in joining them.
Very good work life balance with a trust based working relationship with management. Allows you to be flexible when you need to do the odd personal thing during the day.
Very good benefits.
Respect between peers is valued highly.
A very good name to have on your CV to advance a career.
Good learning opportunity's.
Cons – Very bad new started induction. You really are left to fend for yourself to get what you need.
Not all, but some of HR are very defensive and unhelpful...if you ask a question the reply if often not to friendly and has an overall feel of being annoyed that you have troubled them....not all are like this there is the odd good egg to, but as I say quite a few battle axes who resent you for expecting them to provide a little.
Slight concerns as the company's profits were not so great this year and a lot of that is due to late project delivery, I hope they don't see the answer to this as making a cull on employees with redundancy rounds.
Advice to Senior Management – If you need to shave elements of the company to bump up profits don't do the knee jerk staff reduction, instead look at how projects are delivered and what is causing delays and burning up cash.

Current Employee – been working at Nokia Siemens Networks
Pros – Usual benefits, pretty good environment, good infrastructure, good reputation
Cons – too hierarchical, too many managers, confusing management structure - al l of which lead to a culture where responsibility can be seen as someone else's.
Advice to Senior Management – Simplify the company structure (even more), shed some management layers and let us get on with delivering world class products and services.
