Work from home sometimes
Cons – Management takes advantage of employees
Commute was kind of long
Advice to Senior Management – Treat employees like they are part of the process.
Pros – Work life balance
Opportunities to grow
Cons – Instability, constant lay-offs, constantly shifting focuses
Pros – Good pay, benefits and people. In heyday, great product vision. Often developed evolutionary products that were firsts in the industry.
Cons – Horrible management. Dishonest accounting and crazy acquisitions diluted stock. Over building of offices and factories led to way too much debt. Greed and poor planning. Success requried them to develop firsts to succeed. Operations and processes were poor
Advice to Senior Management – Too late now. Should have gone slower with expansions instead of planning/assuming business would double year after year.
Pros – Great technologies, great potential, products that serve purpose.
Cons – Management was clueless, money hungry with no vision on how to keep a 100 year old company with experience and 1 billion worth of patents in business. Sad.
Advice to Senior Management – Go to jail and do not collect 200$.
Pros – The ability to work from home was great. There was a great deal of flexibility in the hours. Learned so much from all the others.
Cons – Company didn't last. Upper management was too greedy and too bad they went out of business. It was great while it lasted.
Pros – Dynamic company with a vision
Cons – Strategic error and financial engineering leading to company bankruptcy
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
