    Pros

    Great brands and colleagues
Focus on culture and values and diversity and inclusion
Easy to get a lot of ownership

    Cons

    challenging work-life balance
The location of the company is not great; it is actually 40 miles from London in Theale, near Reading

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    - The balance of what you put in in terms of work and energy doesn't always match the comp and ben. Work Life balance of most of the employees will not be great
    - In some parts of the company ther could be more entrepreneurial drive

I worked at PepsiCo as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

    A lot of responsibility.
    Great support.
    Loads of opportunities.
    Good money.
Company van with petrol (for social use too).
    Looks great on CV.
Head office visits very fun and informative.

    Cons

Long hours (you will be knackered all week).
Very sales focused (cold calling in person).
Sometimes the management can be out of touch with what the interns are doing.
Some staff on lower levels can get a bit annoyed with looking after interns (and maybe jealous of how well they are treated).

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep this internship going, but make sure the managers on all levels know what the interns are doing.

Current Employee - Anonymous Employee in Leicester, England

I have been working at PepsiCo as a contractor (less than an year)

    Pros

The HQ is a nice building with nice anemities such as a free gym and cheap breakfast

    Cons

There is a sincere lack of career progression within the company. If you are lower than a certain level it takes an age to even be considered for a promotion.
Some employees use the work/life balance to take liberties in terms of workload. There seems to be a lot of brown-nosing within the company to the point of no genuine opportunites for training or development

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Ensure people get promoted who work hard, not just the people who are your friends and good at talking

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
