ProsI'll say it first. If you are have to choose a career in insurance... it's objectively one of the best choices, this coming from someone who greatly dislikes the industry. That said, their products are costly, meaning often you find yourself selling a suboptimal package from a purely cost perspective
Learn very quickly
Builds confidence in people to high pressure
Training and pressure allows you to build strong bonds which may be the main thing that stops people in the industry from leaving

ConsThe job does not discriminate between working and off-work hours
A sense that you are exploiting your friends
A strong draw to push aside your morals

ProsDescent paymaster. Hard think of anything else.

ConsManagement is not driven by level of expertise and effort brought in, rather by where you come from! No acknowledgement of hard work. Bureaucracy and politics at its peak where threads reaching HQs.

Advice to Senior ManagementCompletely change the very top management and bring in competent team leader, who really understands the business and turn this place to business than House of Lords.
