Great company, good Principals, some Directors needing soft skils lessons

ProsAwesome people, great benefits, offices and amenities. Great for career building if you can handle Bureaucracy.

ConsTravel (extensive in Advisory consulting); some Advisory Directors on the assignments need very urgent soft skills and project management training.

Advice to Senior ManagementKeep up the good work but also re-train or filter the few Directors in Advisory who do not deserve their position.

ConsLong hours under tight timelines and budgets. Staffing continues to be a standing issue , but the work continues to increase with increasing demands.

Consvery political and no respect for true subject matter expertise or consulting capability. Most promotions are for people who do project administration type of of work. These are all in the consulting practice.

ConsThe pay is so undermarket for this area, I live with roommates, drive an old car and STILL struggle to buy groceries.

Advice to Senior ManagementPay a living wage! This is impossible to show up to work while I am so hungry!
