I worked at Quality Inn & Suites part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Night shift is the easiest. Doing the audit is a breeze. The only pro is that when you do have down time, you can read. Great if you go to school.

    Cons

Poor training. Wages are a joke ! No benefits. No sick days. No vacation days. No overtime. No holiday pay. No personal days. No insurance or any other kind of benefits.
Customers very rude and you have to smile and take it, or flat out lie to them.
Trained to rip off customers. Lazy employees. Toxic environment.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't micro-manage your employees. Quit teaching everyone how to lie just to make an extra dollar. No disciplining of employees. If you complain, your the problem. Don't even think of offering advise. Manager thinks he knows everything and is hardly ever there to handle a problem.

I worked at Quality Inn & Suites (more than an year)

    Pros

This company is a very fast paced customer service industry and is very nice to work for. Great employer.

    Cons

I really did not have any cons for this company, the reason I no longer work with them is due to a closer location to my home.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Great

I have been working at Quality Inn & Suites

    Pros

    - Simple job; it allowed me to earn spending money while I was in school and I could bring in homework to complete there
    - Computer system was real easy to learn and was very efficient
    - Very laid back

    Cons

    - Management could have done a better job with training. My manager was a nice guy, but sometimes got on to me for things that I felt were never explained to me in the first place.
    - Management could have given more authority to the front desk agents. I was told many times to tell customers "Call the Manager in the morning" - leaving me to feel unsatisfied in dealing with the customer.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Work on leadership & training

    Cons

    Monies. They don't pay enough;(

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I am management. I suggested getting paid more to myself but then I had to send the message to the gm who in turn sent it to the big bosses smh

I have been working at Quality Inn & Suites full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Easing going, the troubles you encounter don't compare to other jobs within this pay bracket. Mostly sitting, standing, and little lifting required. Doing the nightly audit is a breeze.

    Cons

I can't make a living off this pay, only 8 dollars an hour with no overtime can't pay even the most basic living requirements.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Consider pay raises for your employees can't live under these rates.
