Baddi (India)

Current Employee – been working at Schneider Electric full-time for more than 10 years

ProsCompany Shares best practices, and transparent in communication.Skills & competency mapping is done to find the gap between the job profile and present skill levels. Training calenders are designed according the bridge the gap and improve on deliverable. This is how Schneider is able to leverage better efficiencies at all levels.

ConsCompany needs to understand local culture and set up proper organization structure. Following European norms may not work sometimes. Also need to recognize talents and empower them for delivering more than what an average employee can do.

Paris (France)

Current Employee – been working at Schneider Electric full-time for more than 3 years

Prosinternational talent pool, career opportunities internally high and borderless, sociable community and less work pressure, retains loyal talent (not necessarily good talent)

Consloyal talent who lack skills to grow company can pull organisation down slowly but surely, silo mentality of respective business units create poor collaboration and variety of cultures. Company programs are good campaigns but poor execution.

Advice to Senior ManagementStop the cheer leading team and get the work done. Time waits for no one.
