Pros – Education, trainings and pertinent certifications promptly given. Great Orientation program into Shannon. Great

Cons – Not ideal patient to staff ratios. At time of my employment, nurses had to scramble between different computer systems (only nursing and ancillary used one and physicians another) and paper charting. Pharmacy dispensing and machines exceedingly lacking timeliness, availability, and functionality; need a change in system but during employment, unable to help find solution.

Pros – I enjoyed the benefits and the work flow on floors 4 and 5

Cons – 6th floor had horrible work flow. Bad attitudes everywhere

Advice to Senior Management – The manager is a disaster. No idea what she is doing or how to go about and treat people, especially aides

Pros – Progressive work place considering it is located in a small city. Friendly people are abundant, however due to the nature of the work people tend to "punch" the clock.

Cons – It is the largest medical center in the town and as such tends to be busy. Not necessarily a bad thing, but be prepared to be called in.

Advice to Senior Management – pay raises across the board and matching 401K to 10%. pay raises across the board and matching 401K to 10%.
