    1. Good encouraging place.
    2. Company policies are transparent.
    3. CEP policy is really helpful for higher studies.
    4. If you are a outstanding performer, every year you can expect exact 20% of salary hike.
    5. Flexible job timings.

    Cons

    1. Due to high packages, u may face problems due job change.

    Sales People Treated like "Pawns" towards The Management's Quota and Club Reservations

    Pros

    They serve Starbucks coffee...and have a nice surplus of legal pads and pens.

    Cons

    Sales Compensation and Quotas are not in line with the Industry trends and the "solution selling" messaging the company subscribes to.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Try to actually listen to the Sales People on what is going on and work accordingly to streamline instead of making "gut" like decisions or picking favorites when driving opportunities.

    The company is not what it used to be

    Pros

    There are still some good projects to work on.

    Cons

    Management really doesn't care about employees. Pay is becoming lower and lower day by day. This company used to be among the best paying ones, now sadly, even TCS can pay better than them.

    Gain back your clientbase.

    Pros

    Good Sales organization, Overall Good and well meaning people and great breadth of products + nice recognition program for successful sales

    Cons

    Not enough R&D expenditure and overall too many acquisitions that have resulted in a lack of shared culture and in a great difficulty to understand the company's offer. No real product strategy either and a definite lack of enthusiasm.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Focus on Financial Middle-Office and Back-Office which are the core strenghts of the company and shed the rest. Define a product strategy backed up by a serious R&D budget
    Make sure the customers and employees have a sense of direction for the company.

    Pros

    - The culture is pretty lax, no micro-management
    - Work/ Life Balance, decent vacation
    -Easy for commute for folks living on Island
    -Most people are friendly except few in IT and admin

    Cons

    -This place is dead end place where your professional career dies. You will be doing the same job even after 10 years of service
    - The business unit management is pretty shortsighted and does NOT invest in their employees
    - They promote people who belong to the long island "group"
    - Also, the top management leading this business changes every six months

    Pros

    Compensation and benefits are better compare other Services company like Infy, Wipro, TCS etc.

    To an extent flexible work timings but that too depends on your total tenure with company and whom you are reporting to. You can get very good deal if you bargain.

    Here your salary review is done twice a year and at times you may get mid year increment. Performance payout is good , and almost 80 % of people at least manage to get minimum of 110 % of base case mentioned in the letter and almost 80% of people get 10% average hike a year. At times they pay even up to 250 % of what is mentioned in the letter.

    If you are put in right project they work life balance would be excellent.You can spend time on self learning, on your family and meet to targets easily.

    Cons

    At times you get tired with doing same monotonous work. You exposure to latest technology will be very less.

    There are two many managers/lead per developers and majority of them are redundant non techie guys who do not add any value and simply do people management and at times they do not even do that.

    Very less onsite opportunities, specially for longer term.

    If your product is terminated / sunset then it difficult to find a place for you on another project/product. Job security is less but they give good retrenchment money.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Very very average static management. They are slowly running company like a service base company instead of product base company which may earn some revenue but good things of being product company are gone.

    Company may come up with IPO by 2015 and to increase the face value, they are selling of lots of less performing assets.
