Good for Freshers,Bad for Laterals

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

I worked at Syntel full-time for more than 3 years

ProsNice campus,
Good Banking,Insurance,Automotive project

ConsNot good for laterals,
No good compensation as compared to other companies..only few bugs for over time work
No value of laterals.
14-15 hours per day work even office time is 9 to 6
HR management listen to only higher mgmt...No value for employee.

Advice to Senior ManagementShould respect to there employee also.
Should follow give & take...as It takes two to tango...
Higher Mgmt should support there employee....they are not for use & through
Onsite team should be supported by there higher mgmt when needed.
Managers should listen there employee & understand there problem.

It all depends on your luck

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

I have been working at Syntel full-time

ProsIf you get good project, you enjoy working here. Also there are more projects which has maximum percentage of onsite positions. In other words, they have 60-40 model. So you definitely get chance to go to onsite.

ConsIn some projects, you have to work like 15-20 hours which kills your social and family life. Also some HR policies really sucks.

Advice to Senior ManagementGive more importance to employee than your billion dream.
