    I worked at Syntel full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Nice campus,
    Good Banking,Insurance,Automotive project

    Cons

    Not good for laterals,
    No good compensation as compared to other companies..only few bugs for over time work
    No value of laterals.
    14-15 hours per day work even office time is 9 to 6
    HR management listen to only higher mgmt...No value for employee.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Should respect to there employee also.
    Should follow give & take...as It takes two to tango...
    Higher Mgmt should support there employee....they are not for use & through
    Onsite team should be supported by there higher mgmt when needed.
    Managers should listen there employee & understand there problem.

    Pros

    Good salary thats all but no career growth.

    Cons

    Lots of politics. No SDLC follows, no quality in work.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Managers are not upto the mark some even not able to speak english properly.

    Huge onsite opportunity
    work life balance
    no micro management
    good infrastructure
    managers are friendly but again depends on individuals

    Cons

    compensation is less not a pay master ..you have to complete 9 hours daily

    Pros

    Great freedom to execute the plans that are felt right for the Client and company. Good scope for growth and performance recognized by my managers.

    Cons

    People facuing Client have burden to drive end to end and at times Client facing role people are over burdened. Having said this provides learning opportunity too

    Containing attrition of core team may help faster growth

    good onsite opportunities if stay more than 3 years
    Good for married women,if they want less pressure

    Cons

    No proper care about interest of employee.i was intrested on development but i was forced to work on unit testing for 4 years in same account( rotational policy wont work due to internal manager politics) . Slow hikes to fresher but its more for laterals.

    Consider the intrest of the employee, rotational policies are not upto the mark.

    Pros

    Excellent work culture if you are working in a horizontal. Excellent scope for growth. Work life balance difficult considering work location, but work is fun.

    Cons

    Growth in a vertical is difficult. Culture is not good and no scope to grow unless you have a godfather. Company policies are not very employee friendly.

    Change policies to make them more employee friendly. Improve travel policies and compensation. Allow for growth of an individual.

    Good Onsite opportunity but that too depend upon in which project you work. US opportunities are for long term tenure.

    Less workload. One can maintain a good work life balance

    Annual increment is not so good.
    No extra benefits
    Provide more external technical trainings
