    Pros

Stable employer, good benefits and great people. One of the area's best places to work when combining compensation and hours.

    Cons

If working in the plant, the hours can be long if you are not used to it or unable to stand for long periods of time.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees more. They are your biggest asset. Bottom lines are important but sometimes people need to feel they are more than a number.

    Pros

Great leadership at the management levels within the plant and at the corporate levels. Old school, traditional values, and teamwork mentality.

    Cons

Higher management at corporate level is very shortsighted and does not regard long term second and third order affects for short sighted decisions to realize short-term gains.

    Advice to Management

Follow all SEC laws, rules and regulations.

    Pros

Great working conditions (Flex hours), nice real estate (HQ), excellent benefit options, great company supported volunteer opportunities.

    Cons

Large company which can lead to getting lost in the 'big room'. In certain departments management would not back-up their employees.

    Pros

The office culture, while conservative was very friendly and family-oriented. Most employees worked with the company for over 20 years. Great place to learn the ropes.

    Cons

While compensation was fair, it was a bit on the low end of the range.

    Pros

Good safety record. People are good to work with.

    Cons

if you are low man on in the union you must cover all the vacation of the other union guys too much overtime excessive hours.

    Advice to Management

Union needs to scale people to there skill level not just keep them the same.

    Pros

I needed a job and they had one. When you're in need of a paycheck you can't be choosy. Well, I needed a paycheck so I wasn't choosy.

    Cons

See above, it's much easier to discuss what the benefits were and assume all else was a con. Working for Inland was a pleasure much in the same way herpes isn't.

    Advice to Management

The company has been acquired so there isn't really much to say here.

    Pros

Pays well and that's about it.

    Cons

Highly negative atmosphere, biased and lord knows don't get hurt or they'll turn on you like a pack of hungry wolves. encourages employees to not seek medical care if hurt at work.

    Advice to Management

Learn the difference between hard work with a desire to achieve and self selling narcissism. Value your employees and stop going around safety.
