Great opportunity for American teachers to work for the US Government overseas

0200 TEACHER (MIXED MIDDLE) (Former Employee)
Schweinfurt (Germany)

I worked at US Department of Defense full-time for more than a year

ProsSalary is based upon the highest average salaries for public school teachers in the US.
Salary is dependent upon years of teaching in accredited schools and earned degrees.
Working for the US Government overseas while protected by the US Government.
Teaching American children that one's nationality is more important than one's skin color.

ConsLimit of ten years non-DoDEA experience recognized on the Salary Step Schedule.
Living in a "fishbowl" environment with other Americans who tend to know all about you.
Time and travel distance from the US limits relations with family back in the US.
Vacancies highly dependent upon the US national forces deployment overseas.
Schools are closed permanently depending upon global political situations.

Advice to Senior ManagementGreat job managing teacher employment despite variable funding availability.
