    Pros

As far as call centers go, USAA is the best out there. Very military centric, and increasing flexibility in scheduling for employees. Members are, for the most part, very nice and easy to talk to. Good group of coworkers, nice building.

    Cons

It's still a call center. you're tied to a phone for most of your day. Even when you promote, you're just going to another desk with another phone with different callers. at phoenix location, advancement exists, but theres not much room for choice. You start in one job, and you can advance UP, but you pretty much stay in the same line of business.

    Advice to Management

If USAA is going to preach that they have this great work/life balance, they should not consider every unplanned time off event to be unexcused. If an employee produces a doctors note that says they shouldn't be at work for a particular day, they shouldn't fear being reprimanded by management.
