Wal-Mart today!

Assistant Manager (Current Employee)
Calgary, AB (Canada)

I have been working at WalMart Canada full-time for more than a year

ProsSome very good people working for them, you create some good friendships

ConsOther than friendships this company is all over the place, can't quite get it right with how they handle freight, associates etc....

Advice to Senior ManagementListen, follow-up. If you want it done right maybe show everyone how to do it not just expect them to do it without proper training. There is a lot of double standards going on, Management expects the rules to be followed but they are not following them.

ConsManagement

Advice to Senior ManagementManagement can be very challenging. They only care about getting stuff done regardless of the obstacles in the way. They are very biased to certain workers. They like to dump endless amounts of work on employees while they sit in their office all day and talk amongst themselves.
