Former Employee – worked at Wynn Resorts full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – The Company always focused on the staff. They were fully aware that without a great team, there was no Company so they made extra effort to see to the needs of it's employees.
Cons – It was very hard work but when you work under an umbrella of excellence, it is what it is. Expectations are high.
Advice to Senior Management – Continue to listen to your staff for they are a great resource in aiding the continued growth of the hotel.

Former Employee – worked at Wynn Resorts
Pros – Beautiful surroundings with an International brand recognition.
Cons – Lowest pay on the Strip
High degree of turn-around
No one knows whats going on
Great disconnect between management and their employees
Horrible vacation - one week per year, and you can't take it until you've been there one year.
Most people are there to get some experience and move on
Advice to Senior Management – Giving people better pay and a better time off policy would be a good start. Mandating that all departments participate in the recognition programs would be nice too - they pump you up in orientation to believe that you'll be recognized for your hard work - not all departments do it or care.

Current Employee – been working at Wynn Resorts
Pros – Fantastic place to work, I love the environement. The executives really take a hands on approach to running the business. It almost seems like a "Mom and Pop joint".
Cons – Pay could be much better.
Advice to Senior Management – Pay should be increased. Better heath insurance and better 401K matching.

Former Employee – worked at Wynn Resorts
Pros – Let's face it. It's "The Wynn Hotel" (and Encore). It has Marquee Value. But the "behind the scenes" is different (see below). However, it was a very good place to work in many respects, team-members were very good, and supervisors and mid-level managers were good to work for.
Cons – Pay is too low for a "World-Class Resort." Food is somewhat less stellar than it should be. Lots of little niggling paperwork issues. Overmuch concentration of process as opposed to results.
Advice to Senior Management – I would like to see management listen to the front-line employees a little more.

Current Employee – been working at Wynn Resorts
Pros – Best Hotel in Las Vegas
Great workplace, people and opportunities
Great pay (but could be better, for the work you do)
Cons – Lots of Favoritism (Encore Housekeeping)
Advice to Senior Management – If you are hearing complaints about certain people, please address it!
