It allows me to gain what I earn even if I am sick.
you have to be sick for more than 3 days to be acceptable for the sick pay and you need to have a doctors letter or something
If you have been there a long time you're entitled to sick pay
I never had time off sick so can’t comment on how good the sick pay was but it was available
After so long working there you get 12 weeks full sick pay before ssp
it is not much you get if you go sick and it is very less what you earn in a week .
You receive sick pay from day 1 (no waiting days), and you get full basic pay for up to 6 months. Your sickness absence is reviewed every 6 months and can result in you being "more closely monitored" or even investigated, if you are off too much.
Decent cover, although I am not sure about this now.
You are rated on how much sick time you take and it will affect your annual bonus, in severe cases it eventually could lead to your dismissal from employment.
Usually the pay is incorrect, assuming you get it at all. Constant phone calls asking when you are coming back.
