Role based approach, if you can work remotely there is no barrier to do so
I was able to work from home whenever I want without explanation. But the attitude toward WFH is very much dependent on your team culture and manager
Working from home tends to be commission and line manager specific, the IT to enable this works well though.
Working from home is agreed on a case-by-case basis, discussing it with your line manager but as far as I know, it is a really low number of the worked hours during the year.
