The minimum isn't great and its heavily based on tenure however there is flexibility to extend for major illnesses (e.g. in my team I was able to get a full six months' to ensure a cancer sufferer was supported during their full treatment despite being a recent joiner)
basic contract. so from 3-38.75 hours pay
standard like others - not really used it so dont know the full T& C
Sick pay is provided only when necessary to meet contracted hours (25 for full time despite average 40 hour work week)
Sick pay - paid to be off sick. Sure, I expect that from I reputable company. Except that any employee is made to feel awful if they take more than 2 or 3 days off sick within 365 days.
As long as you have a doctor's note to validate your illness/injury Argos are very accomodating and supportive as you take time off and return to work also.
sick pay is only paid after 4 days off then you just get the minimum goverment sick pay which is only basic
it only builds up as you are working, if you are on a part time contract (such as 7 hours) you only get 7 hours pay. Not very good at all
