Used to be very good with matched contributions from the company equalling a healthy 20% addition to pension pots, but these will cease in 2019. As a result all employees must now find this from their own salary if they wish to continue at this rate.
They will more than match your contributions so if you pay in extra direct from salary. So the total can be well over 10% which is as generous as I have encountered in the industry so far
